Michał Jurecki and Filip Ivić awarded by EHF!
Two players of PGE VIVE Kielce were among the distinguished ones after the 11th round of the group phase of Velux EHF Champions League. Michał Jurecki was chosen the best left back player and Filip Ivić's intervention was ranked among the five best goalkeeper parades.
Last weekend was very successful for the yellow-white-and-blue! Talant Dujshebaev's players fought a real fight for two points during a difficult match in Sweden, Kristianstad, and ended it successfully, defeating the host 34:33. Bravery cannot be denied to any of the PGE VIVE Kielce players, but it must be said that if it wasn't for the eleven goals scored by Michał Jurecki and many very important defenses of Filip Ivić in this match, the result of it would be completely different. These two players were the obvious leaders of the team on Saturday evening – Dzidziuś set the pace of the attack and led the team forward, and Filip fiercely defended the rivals' access to the goal of the Kielce team. As a result, the captain of PGE VIVE Kielce was chosen the best left back of the round, and the intervention of Filip Ivić, stopping the counterattack of fast moving Anton Halen in the first half of the match was ranked among the best parades of the weekend.
