A very successful meeting at Calimero Cafe Paderewskiego is behind us. The new players of the Łomża Vive Kielce team, Miguel Sanchez, Dylan Nahi and Damian Domagała, answered many interesting questions from handball fans during the “Awkward Conversation” on Tuesday afternoon.

The meeting took place on Tuesday, October the 5th, at Calimero Cafe Paderewskiego, in Kielce. The topics discussed during the conversation concerned not only handball and because of some tricky questions players had to get out of awkward situations.

We explored a lot of different topics. For example, Dylan told us about his African roots (his parents come from Côte d'Ivoire), love to fashion and plans to create his own collection of clothes or shoes after his career. Miguel shared his passion for psychology, including the role of a psychologist in a sports team and the process of coping with team failures. He also recalled his first meeting with coach Talant Dujshebaev, who introduced him to the senior Ciudad Real team. Damian talked about the backstage of the transfer to the Polish Champions team, his experiences in the Kielce Handball School and his first impressions after changing the environment.

The players also took part in a knowledge test about our club (thanks to the help of the audience, they even managed to recall the song our fans sang to Julen Aginagalde!), as well as in a series of questions that made it really awkward sometimes. And because they met the challenge of the owner of Calimero Cafe Paderewski, Mr. Mariusz, and answered 15 out of 20 quiz questions without any mistakes, all participants of the meeting received small gifts from the hosts. That evening, we also distributed vouchers for tickets for the Champions League match against SG Flensburg-Handewitt, which will be held in Kielce on October the 13th.

We sincerely thank the hosts of Calimero Cafe Paderewski, Mariusz and Łukasz, for their hospitality and all participants of the meeting for the wonderful atmosphere and many interesting questions!
