Training for Young Players
For many years, handball has been one of the most popular sports in the Świętokrzyskie region. Thus, training young players is one of the most important objectives in the development of the sports club. Our city contributes to the training of young handballers from the Świętokrzyskie region who successfully compete on the national scene.
Several educational institutions, in cooperation with the club, have sports classes dedicated to handball. This type of classes is currently active in Szkoła Podstawowa nr 39 in Słoneczne Wzgórze and in Szkoła Podstawowa nr 32 in the Kielce district of Barwinek. The club also cooperates with Szkoła Podstawowa nr 25 in Ślichowice. At the beginning of each school year new students can apply to the aforementioned classes (information about this is posted in schools and in club media). There is also ongoing training in grades 1-3. Training of young players is also conducted in the sports club Vive Kielce. More than 400 young players of different age groups train under the yellow-white-and-blue colors. The youngest can compete in regional games, and after being promoted - in national competitions. Many young teams participate in prestigious youth tournaments all over Europe. In the 2017/18 season, for the first time, young handball adepts were trained by the Łomża Industria Kielce first team members. The opportunity to train with their sports idols motivates young players to further develop their careers.
