OŚWIADCZENIE KS VIVE HANDBALL KIELCE S.A. W SPRAWIE REKLAM SPONSORA ROZGRYWEK LIGI MISTRZÓW

KS VIVE Handball Kielce S.A. przed rozpoczęciem sezonu 2018/2019 podpisał bardzo ważną umowę z firmą PGE S.A, na mocy której firma ta została sponsorem tytularnym drużyny PGE VIVE Kielce i ma strategiczne znaczenie dla Klubu. W efekcie tego zdecydowaliśmy o nieeksponowaniu logotypu innego sponsora wskazanego przez EHF na koszulkach naszych zawodników.

Istotnym faktem w zaistniałej sytuacji jest to, iż otrzymaliśmy informację o sponsorze premium Ligi Mistrzów w postaci Nord Stream 2 we wrześniu, a zgodnie z regulaminem rozgrywek VELUX EHF Champions League informacja o sponsorach i partnerach EHF/EHF Marketing powinna być przekazana do 15 sierpnia 2018. Już w sierpniu, po otrzymaniu informacji o wyłącznościach branżowych na sezon (nie wiedząc jeszcze, że Nord Stream 2 zostanie sponsorem Ligi Mistrzów), informowaliśmy EHF Marketing o naszej umowie z głównym sponsorem i kolizji branżowej.

KS VIVE Handball Kielce S.A. jest zobligowany do ochrony interesów swojego Sponsora Tytularnego, jakim jest PGE S.A. Tymczasem, Nord Stream 2 jest postrzegany w Polsce jako projekt stanowiący zagrożenie dla takich wartości jak solidarność i bezpieczeństwo energetyczne naszego kraju. Przypominamy, iż nasz sponsor tytularny PGE S.A. jest jedną z największych firm z sektora energetycznego w Polsce.

Nasz Klub akceptuje kompromisowe rozwiązanie, jakim jest umieszczenie na rękawkach zawodników reklamy zastępczej – tj. partnera charytatywnego PLAN International we wszystkich meczach Ligi Mistrzów.

KS VIVE Handball Kielce S.A. jest gotowy kontynuować dialog w celu uzyskania kompromisu zarówno z EHF jak i EHF Marketing.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF KS VIVE HANDBALL KIELCE S.A. REGARDING THE ADVERTISING EXPOSURE OF THE VELUX EHF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SPONSOR

KS VIVE Handball Kielce S.A. before the start of the 2018/2019 season, signed a very important contract with PGE SA. On this basis the company became a titular sponsor of the PGE VIVE Kielce team and has got a strategic importance for the club. As a result, we decided not to display the logotype of another sponsor indicated by the EHF on the jerseys of our players.

What is important in the situation, the information about the premium sponsor of the Champions League, Nord Stream 2, was received by the club in September, and according to the regulations of the VELUX EHF Champions League the information about sponsors and partners of the EHF/EHF Marketing should be forwarded until 15^th August 2018. Already in August, after receiving information about branch exclusivity for the season (not knowing that Nord Stream 2 would be a sponsor of the Champions League yet), we informed the EHF Marketing about our contract with the main sponsor and the collision of the brunches.

KS VIVE Handball Kielce S.A. is obliged to protect the interests of its Titular Sponsor, which is PGE S.A. Meanwhile, Nord Stream 2 is perceived in Poland as a project that poses a threat to such values as solidarity and energy security of our country. We would like to remind that our Titular Sponsor PGE S.A. is one of the largest companies in Polish energy sector.

Our club accepts the compromise solution, which is the replacement of the sponsor’s logo with an alternative logo of the competition’s charity partner, PLAN International, on sleeve advertising  in all matches of the Champions League.

KS VIVE Handball Kielce S.A. is ready to continue the dialogue in order to reach a compromise with both EHF and EHF Marketing.
